The first National Congress of Zhejiang

In Pingyang fengwoguanjianshan and Matougang village. On July 21-30, 1939, the first Congress of Zhejiang Province was held here. The meeting site was initially located in 7 wooden buildings at the half waist of guanjian mountain, and then transferred to 9 wooden buildings with dark Pavilion in Matougang village on the opposite side of Guazi mountain. In 1959, with the approval of Zhejiang Provincial People's Committee, guanjian and Matougang were listed as the first batch of provincial key cultural relics protection units. In 1981 and 1994, Pingyang County Party committee and government renovated the former site of the first CPC Zhejiang provincial Congress in guanjian and Matougang. At present, the former sites of the first Zhejiang provincial Congress of the Communist Party of China in guanjian and Matougang display a large number of historical relics of the first provincial Congress of the Communist Party of China. With pictures and texts and rich historical materials, they have become a good classroom for revolutionary tradition education and patriotism education in our province.
