The Buddhist temple is located near Manting Park in Jinghong Town, the capital of Xishuangbanna Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It is the center of worshiping Buddhists in Xishuangbanna. The Buddhist temple is located in a rectangular courtyard with the gate open to the north and West. At present, the total Buddhist temple covers an area of 3000 square meters, with a construction area of about 1000 square meters. It is composed of the Buddha Hall "Weihan", the teaching building of the Buddhist College, the under construction "posu" (literally translated as lotus polar Pavilion), and the monk room "huannuan". Today, on one side of the gate, there is a bungalow with a big drum. On the wall of the bungalow, there is a picture of Buddha's original Sutra called "tasasiza" for several Buddha statues. One of the Buddha statues has seven dragon head like arms extending from the back of the shoulder and embracing the head from the back to the front. In the middle of the north is the main building "xionghan" - the main hall of the Buddhist temple. The main hall covers an area of 90 square meters. The base of the hall is about one meter high. The color of the hall is purplish red. The walls of the hall are milky white. Aluminum alloy doors and windows are installed. The temple is about seven meters high, with brick and wood structure. The ridge of the double eaves shaped temple is in the shape of four steps. There are three small towers in the middle of the ridge, forming the highest point of the temple. In front of the main hall of the Buddhist temple is a delicate building supported by red wooden columns. Above the door is a plaque inscribed by Zhao Puchu, which is called "Xishuangbanna general Buddhist temple". The main hall is 5 meters high, with floor glue and carpet inside the hall, and the ceiling with lotus pattern is covered above. 14 red wooden columns about 40 cm in diameter are separated on both sides of the hall. To the south of the hall are two bases for worshiping Buddha statues. In the center of the pedestal is a 2.5-meter-high gold statue of Sakyamuni Buddha. On the left and right and in front of the gold statues, there are also 14 statues of Buddha no more than one meter high. There are nine Buddha statues on the pedestal. Between the two bases, there are vases full of colorful flowers. There are eminent monks chanting sutras, confessing and blessing for believers in the hall.
