Manlei pagoda is located on the top of the mountain beside manlei village in the southeast of mengzheba, Menghai county. There are two pagodas, big and small. The big pagoda is 20 meters high and the small pagoda is 15 meters high. The base of the pagoda is square and the body of the pagoda is octahedral. There are metal ornaments on the top of the two towers, and there are two small Buddhist temples between them. In the south of the tower, there is a wild awn fruit tree more than 30 meters high. The history of the small tower is the same as that of the wild awn fruit tree. Now the two pagodas are restored and renovated, which are places of worship and sightseeing for Dai and Buddhist believers.

The pagoda is located on the top of the mountain next to manlei village in the southeast of mengzheba, Chenhai County, so it is called Manda pagoda. Mengzheba is not only the first dam in Xishuangbanna, but also an important granary in Xishuangbanna. There are two pagodas, the big one is 20 meters high and the small one is 15 meters high. It is said that the site of the little Tashi is where the left bone of the Buddha was buried. Later, the soul of the Buddha flew away from the ground and landed nearby. So two Buddhist temples and pagodas were built where the soul of the Buddha fell. In the south of the tower, there is a wild awn fruit tree more than 30 meters high. It is said that the age of the tree is just the same as the history of the small tower. Manlei pagoda is one of the holy places for worshiping the Buddhists of the Theravada in Xishuangbanna. It is also one of the scenic spots for worshiping and visiting the Dai people and Buddhists.
