Dazalugong was an important Minister of Zanpu chisongdezan, and was in an important position. The monument was established in recognition of his achievements, so it is called the memorial monument. The inscription praises his talent and contribution. Therefore, Chisong Dezan not only rewarded him with slaves, land and pasture, but also gave him and his descendants various privileges. In the 8th century, wars often took place between Tubo and Tang Dynasty. During the period of tsanpu chisongdezan in Tubo, dazalugong led his troops to attack and plunder Chang'an (now Xi'an) in the first year of Guangde in Tang Dynasty (763). Looking at this monument, and then looking at the "nephew and uncle alliance monument" in front of the Jokhang Temple, we can better understand why the Tang Dynasty and Tubo cherished the coming peace.
