Yuzhuang, formerly known as Jue'an, also known as Yuzhuang and Shihu villa, is located in Yujia village, northeast of Shihu in the suburb of Suzhou. It was listed as a cultural relic protection unit of Suzhou in 1991. The site of Yuzhuang is said to be the former site of nongpu Hall (Tianjing Pavilion) of dashihu villa in Fancheng of Southern Song Dynasty.
Yu Jue, a modern calligrapher, was built from 1932 to 1934. It is a courtyard building with brick and wood mixed structure, covering an area of about 1500 square meters. At present, there are two halls with five wide faces. The Ming and the second rooms are halls, and the top rooms are study rooms and living rooms. The front hall is called Fu Shou Tang. The front and rear halls are connected by corridors on both sides, with square half pavilions on each side of the corridor, opposite to each other on the left and right, and a courtyard in the middle. The other Square Pavilion is built in front of the villa, which is named fishing Pavilion. It is a spectacular scenery for Lingjia temple tower and fanchengda temple in Moupan mountain. Since 1985, it has been completely renovated and completed in the autumn of the next year. It is decorated according to the former residence of celebrities.

The villagers are mainly Shi and Shen. According to the records of "the renewal of the genealogy of the Shen family in Changxiang of Xiaoshan in the 19th year of Guangxu of Qing Dynasty" in Xiaoshan archives collection, Shen Heng, a military officer, moved from Changxiang of Suzhou to Changxiang of Xiaoshan in the Northern Song Dynasty. The Shen surname of Yuzhuang comes from the Fanyan branch of Changxiang in Xiaoshan.
Yuzhuang old riverbank is located in front of shengdun River (the tributary of Guanyintan) behind jiushitang. It is 37.4 meters long, and it is a man-made riverbank in Ming Dynasty. Yuzhitang, a large-scale residence with an area of about 2400 square meters, is a residence of the surname Shen. It is commonly known as "103 rooms" in the local area. It has a four pillar stone platform gate, three entrances and four patios, and East and West Wing rooms. It was built in the early and middle Qing Dynasty and rebuilt many times later. The first bridge of Yuzhuang is a single hole stone beam bridge built in 1736, the first year of Qianlong reign of Qing Dynasty.
