Bingzhongluo is located in the north of Nujiang Li Autonomous Prefecture and Gongshan Dulong Nu Autonomous County, 329 kilometers away from Liuku, the seat of the state government, and 43 kilometers away from Gongshan County. It is adjacent to Deqin County of Diqing Prefecture in the East, bangdang Township in the south, Dulongjiang Township in Myanmar in the west, and Chayu County in Nyingchi Prefecture of Tibet in the north. The total land area of the township is 823 square kilometers, the terrain is high in the north and low in the south. It is the core area of "Three Parallel Rivers" formed by three mountains in Northwest Yunnan, namely Gaoligong Mountain, Nushan mountain and Yunling mountain, and three rivers, namely Nujiang River, Lancang River and Jinsha River. Evolution of organizational system
Bingzhongluo, formerly known as "jiachangpu bucket" (Tibetan), means Nujiang xiaokangpu. It is said that the luopuhua temple in Bingzhong is under the jurisdiction of Kangpu Lama Temple in Weixi County. Kangpu's Tibetan name is "Changpu", so Bingzhong Luohe has the saying of Nujiang Xiaokang temple.
Bingzhongluo used to be a place where Nu people lived. Since the Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty, Tibetan Buddhism was brought into Bingzhongluo by Tibetan Lama dugongji and took root, Tibetans have migrated from Tibet, Deqin, Zhongdian and other places and become the main residents here.
Bingzhongluo was originally named "Bizhong", which means "Tibetan village" in Tibetan, and the local Nu people called it "mabaiklau". After the Lisu people migrated from the Lancang River Basin and the lower reaches of the Nujiang River to settle here, they added the sound of "Luo" to the original "Bizhong", which means "Qing" or "place", so they changed from "Bizhong" to "bijiluo".

Bingzhongluo town is an irregular quadrilateral, with the highest altitude of 5128 meters in gawagapu snow mountain, the lowest altitude of 1430 meters in the river at the junction with pengdang Township, and the elevation of 1750 meters in the government residence. Bingzhongluo Bazi is an open platform deep in Nujiang Valley, with an area of about 15 square kilometers. It is divided into three parts by gemalo River and Jiasheng river flowing from west to East.
