Website introduction: Guilin University of technology is a University jointly built by the central and local governments and mainly managed by Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The school originated from Guilin geological school established by the former Ministry of heavy industry of the people's Republic of China in Guangxi in 1956. After five changes of ownership and ten changes of school name, it was renamed Guilin Institute of Metallurgical Geology in 1978, Guilin Institute of technology in 1993 and Guilin University of technology in 2009.
