Introduction to the website: Wenzhou University is a local comprehensive university. Its history can be traced back to Wenzhou Normal School founded in 1933 by Mr. Huang Suchu, a famous patriot and hometown lover in modern Wenzhou. In 1987, it was upgraded to Wenzhou Normal University. Wenzhou Institute of education, Wenzhou preschool normal school, Ruian normal school and Pingyang normal school were merged into Wenzhou Normal University. In 2006, Wenzhou Normal University and Wenzhou University merged to form a New Wenzhou University.
