Website introduction: Tsinghua University is the official website of Tsinghua University. The predecessor of Tsinghua University is Tsinghua School, which was founded in 1911. It was a preparatory school in the United States founded by some Boxer Indemnity returned by the United States. In 1912, Tsinghua School was renamed Tsinghua School. In 1925, the University Department was set up and began to recruit four-year college students. In 1928, it changed its name to National Tsinghua University and opened its research institute in the autumn of 1929.
