Wuhan industry and Trade Vocational College

Wuhan Vocational College of industry and trade, founded in 1988, is a full-time ordinary university directly under the leadership of Hubei Provincial Department of education with the approval of the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China. It has the qualification of independently issuing academic diplomas and enrolling students nationwide.

The college is located in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, which is known as the "thoroughfare of nine provinces". It is located in Moshan scenic area of East Lake scenic area, adjacent to China Optical Valley and East Lake New Technology Development Zone in the south, Wuhan Botanical Garden in the north, several key universities in the East, and the shore of East Lake in the West. It is a typical garden style university with mountains and rivers, green trees and elegant environment.

Wuhan Vocational College of industry and trade enrolls students nationwide. At present, there are 21 specialties (directions) with distinctive characteristics, such as mechatronics technology, electronic information engineering technology, business English, international economy and trade, logistics management, environmental art design, etc. It covers the fields of Arts, science, engineering, economics, management, art and so on. The college cooperates with most ordinary colleges and universities to provide students with the opportunity of "upgrading from junior college to undergraduate", implements the talent training mode of "double certificate system" (graduation certificate and national vocational qualification certificate), strengthens students' practical ability, cultivates high-quality applied talents, and builds an ideal platform for students' all-round development and employment.

The college attaches great importance to students' political and ideological education, and has developed hundreds of Party members among students in recent years. The college has made every effort to guide and recommend graduates for employment, and has sent nearly 10000 graduates to 26 provinces (cities, districts), ministries and commissions of the state. Many of them have become department leaders or technical backbones, and are highly praised by employers.
