Liaoning Medical Vocational College

Liaoning Medical Vocational College is a project school of Liaoning Vocational Education Reform and development demonstration school. It is the only provincial public medical full-time ordinary higher vocational college to cultivate nursing, pharmacy, medical technology, rehabilitation technology and health management technical talents in Liaoning Province.

The main campus of the college is located in the south of Hunhe River in Shenyang City, adjacent to Shenyang International Exhibition Center. Benxi campus is located in shenben new town, which is under construction. The total area of the campus is 558900 square meters, and the building area of the campus is 203400 square meters. Liaoning Medical Vocational College, formerly known as Liaoning health workers medical college, was founded in 1984. In 1998, it was identified as a pilot college of Higher Vocational Education in Liaoning Province. In 2000, it was incorporated into the original Liaoning College of traditional Chinese medicine (now Liaoning University of traditional Chinese Medicine) to carry out higher vocational education in medicine. In 2010, it was separated from Liaoning University of traditional Chinese Medicine and established Liaoning health vocational and technical college. In 2014, it was renamed as Liaoning Medical Vocational College with the approval of Liaoning Provincial People's government.

The college has 8 departments, including Department of medical technology, Department of pharmacy, Department of nursing, Department of rehabilitation technology, Department of health management, Department of basic medical education and research, Department of public basic education and research, Department of Ideological and political education, and 33 Higher Vocational Specialties at the specialty level. At present, there are 6679 students.
