Guizhou communications vocational and technical college is a full-time university approved by Guizhou Provincial People's government and registered by the Ministry of education. It is a comprehensive higher vocational college characterized by transportation, and also the only National Demonstrative Higher Vocational College in Guizhou Province. The college is divided into three campuses: South Campus, North Campus and Qingzhen campus. The old campuses (south campus, North Campus) are located in the northwest of Guiyang City, close to mountains and rivers. The campus area is 510 mu, with a construction area of more than 230000 square meters. There are teaching complex building, training building, library information building, student apartment, standard sports ground, automobile training ground, etc; The college has first-class teaching equipment, professional integrated classroom, laboratory, multimedia network computer room, studio, voice room, computing center, training center and other teaching facilities. The college has seven departments (road and Bridge Engineering Department, automobile engineering department, architectural engineering department, management engineering department, information engineering department, mechanical and electrical engineering department, Logistics Engineering Department), one school (automobile driving technician school), two departments (basic department, adult education department) and Guizhou transportation Technician College (Guizhou transportation school), with a total of 41 majors and categories. Among them, the major of road and bridge engineering technology, automobile application and maintenance technology, construction engineering technology and construction machinery application technology are the demonstration majors of national higher vocational colleges; the major of construction engineering supervision, tourism management, accounting and computer application technology are the key majors of provincial higher vocational colleges.
