The bodhisattva said, "Cassock is good and bad. There are places where you want money, and there are places where you don't want money." Xiao - said, "What is good? What is bad?" The Bodhisattva said, "It is good not to go to hell, to fall into hell, to suffer evil, or to meet tigers and wolves. It is bad if a foolish monk who is greedy for happiness, a monk who does not fast, or a common man who destroys scriptures and slanders Buddha cannot see my cassock."
Then he asked, "Why do you want money, not money?" The Bodhisattva said, "If you don't obey the Buddha's law and respect the Three Treasures, you will buy the cassock and the tin staff, and you will sell them for 7000 liang. This is money. If you respect the Three Treasures, take pleasure in what you see, convert to my Buddha, and can afford it, I will give him the cassock and the tin staff, and make a good relationship with me. I have the Mahayana Dharma Tripitaka, which can help those who cannot die to ascend to heaven, can help those who cannot survive, can help those who cannot survive, can cultivate unlimited longevity, and can do everything that comes and goes."
