[clinical application] treating burn
Wash and dry the whole grass collected in that year, and soak it in the proportion of 1 jin of whole grass and 10 jin of vegetable oil at room temperature for more than 1 week. Exposure therapy was mainly used. The oil was evenly applied to the wound to keep the injured surface moist. If bandaging therapy is used, the gauze can be soaked with medicinal oil to cover the wound; or the wound surface can be coated with medicinal oil before covering the gauze. The dressing was changed once a day or two. A total of 100 cases were treated, 87 cases were cured and improved (most of the injured surface healed and the dressing was changed after discharge), the average hospitalization time was 18.5 days; 6 cases were not cured, 7 cases died of shock. Among them, 53 cases were mild (burn area less than 20%, degree I-II), 47 cases were cured and improved, 5 cases were not cured, 1 case died (deep degree II of 1-year-old infant reached 15%); 32 cases were moderate (burn area 20-40%, degree II), all cured or improved; 15 cases were severe (burn area between 40-95%, degree II, degree III), 8 cases were cured and improved, 1 case was not cured, 6 cases died of shock. It is suggested that the medicinal oil has the functions of moistening skin, relieving pain, anti inflammation and promoting epithelial growth. The bacteriostatic test showed that the bacteriostatic effect was not strong, but the clinical observation did have the effect of anti infection. There are still some problems in the application, which need to be solved.
