Character experience

He graduated from the Mechanical Department of Peking University in 1937. He was an engineer of Kunming central machinery factory. From 1945 to 1948, he studied and worked in several American diesel engine factories. After returning to China, he was director of prime mover Design Department of Shanghai general machinery company. He has been a professor and director of the Standing Committee of the Department of internal combustion engine and shipbuilding machinery of the Central Institute of technology of the people's Republic of China. He is a deputy to the third, fifth and Sixth National People's Congress.
