Outstanding performance
He has been engaged in clinical and related basic research work of cardiovascular surgery for a long time, and has made outstanding achievements and innovative achievements in the fields of coronary heart disease, congenital heart disease, heart valve disease, etc., especially in the treatment of complicated congenital heart disease. Anatomic correction of Ebstein's malformation is considered as a significant progress by international cardiac surgery experts. American colleagues also came to Beijing to learn this technique. The key technical problems in surgical treatment of tetralogy of Fallot and coronary heart disease were solved. The mortality rate of radical operation of tetralogy of Fallot was reduced from 10% to 0.8%, and the success rate of coronary artery bypass grafting was more than 99.5%, which reached the international advanced level. Two scientific research projects "clinical and basic series research on surgical treatment of intractable congenital heart disease" and "basic and clinical research on improving the effect of surgical treatment of coronary heart disease" sponsored by the first adult won the second prize of national science and Technology Progress Award in 2005 and 2002 respectively, with a total of 4 national awards and 9 ministerial awards. Since 1990, we have successfully carried out 12 difficult operations in China, such as double atrioventricular switch operation, Ross operation, implantation of left ventricular assist device for patients with advanced coronary heart disease. Two years later, we have successfully carried out heart transplantation and so on. The curative effect is satisfactory. Many patients who could not be treated in the past have the chance of operation and complete cure. In 2001, he was elected by the Asian Society of cardiovascular surgery by the secret ballot as a standing committee member of the Chinese mainland. In 2007, at the eighty-seventh annual meeting of the American Department of thoracic surgery society, the members of the American Institute of Department of thoracic surgery were elected by the members' voting. They became members of the society of China after the late professor Wu Yingkai. Members of the Chinese mainland association were recommended by three members and submitted three papers published in English magazines for all members to comment. He is also a member of the European Society of cardiothoracic surgery in Chinese mainland and a editorial board of the Department of thoracic surgery Yearbook.
Academic achievements
He has published 223 academic papers, 83 of which are the first author, edited 3 monographs of cardiac surgery, coronary artery surgery and cardiovascular surgical nursing, and participated in writing 10 books. We have trained 2 postdoctors, 34 doctors and 4 masters, among which 4 have been promoted to associate chief physician or associate professor. since 2000, at the invitation of American experts, he has been abroad for operation demonstration and academic exchanges for five times.
