Weight (1875 -?) Jintang is a native of Wuchang, Hubei Province. Graduated from Tokyo University of Commerce.
From March 1910 to August 1912, he was the supervisor of business department of Beijing Normal University.

He was the chief of general affairs department of Hubei Quanye public office, the supervisor of Beijing University of Commerce, and the Secretary of the Ministry of industry and commerce. After 1912, he served as secretary of the Ministry of agriculture and Commerce of Beijing government and counsellor of the Ministry of communications. In February 1913, he served as an official of the Kuomintang. In May 1916, he served as the deputy director of the Ministry of communications and returned to the Ministry of communications in October. In April 1917, he acted as the deputy director of the Ministry of transport and in May he was the director of the Ministry of transport. In 1918, he served as the supervisor of Jilin Railway Association and the director of Jilin Changsha Railway Administration. In July 1920, he was the deputy director of the Ministry of transportation. Later, he resumed his post as the supervisor of Jilin Railway Association and the director of Jilin Changchun railway administration, and resigned in 1921. In 1922, he served as the railway supervisor of the Jilin Railway Association for three times, and in May, he was also the deputy director of the Ministry of communications.
