Xiangbang
Xiang bang, the official name of the pre Qin Dynasty. It is called Xiang for short. During the Warring States period, the highest of all the officials. In the spring and Autumn period, Xiang was originally the admirer of the emperor or nobles. According to the records in the book of rites and the book of rites, every drinking ceremony, shooting ceremony and funeral ceremony has a Xiang or Xiang who presides over the relevant etiquette. For example, Duke Lu Ding and Duke Qi met in Jiagu, where Confucius was the prime minister. In the spring and Autumn period, the Prime Minister of the noble family was also called the Prime Minister of the family. It is also known as the prime minister's office. In the early years of the Warring States period, the ministers and officials of some countries gradually became the kings of some countries because of their great power. As their confidants, the prime minister became the Prime Minister of the state. Liu Bang, Emperor Gaozu of the Han Dynasty, ascended the throne and became prime minister to avoid taboo.
origin
According to records of the historian, in the early years of the Warring States period, the prime ministers were the three Jin and other states. After that, other countries also put the prime minister before the prime minister. The name of Xiangbang can only be found in the bronze inscriptions, such as the inscription "quot" on some of Zhao's copper spears and swords, and the inscription "he" on Xiangbang's Chunping marquis. In the bronze inscription of Zhongshan state, there is the name of the Prime Minister of Zhongshan state. There is also the name "Shou Xiang" in Zhao's bronze inscriptions, which means to take pictures.
In ancient books, there are only Xiangguo or Xiangxiang. The prime minister has been mentioned in the Warring States policy, Han Feizi and Wang Bingpian, a bamboo slips from Yinqueshan in Linyi, Shandong Province. In historical records, there are many records about the Prime Minister of the seven states, such as Zhang Yi as the Prime Minister of Qin Hui and Wei ran as the Prime Minister of Qin Zhao. But in the bronze inscriptions, there are only xiangbangyi and xiangbangran. In the historical records, it is said that LV Buwei is the Prime Minister of the state, which was written in the third, fourth, fifth, seventh and eighth year of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty. In the bronze inscriptions, the name of "prime minister" is never found, but only in ancient books. It may be that people in Han Dynasty changed "state" to "state" because they avoided the taboo of Liu Bang, the emperor of Han Dynasty.
The Prime Minister of the Qin Kingdom was set as the Prime Minister of the Qin Kingdom in 309. Chuliji and Ganmao were prime ministers on the left and right. On the wooden slips of the second year of King Wu of Qin Dynasty unearthed in Qingchuan, Sichuan, there are "Wang Ming's Prime Minister Wu and NEISHI zhe", which proves that the records in Shiji are reliable. After King Wu of the Qin Dynasty, the prime minister and the Prime Minister of the Qin Dynasty were not set alternately, but coexisted at the same time. Because the unearthed artifacts of the eastern Mausoleum of the state of Qin are engraved with gold Inscriptions: Xue Jun, Prime Minister of the state of eight years, and Shu, Prime Minister of the state of eight years. This proves that the prime minister and the prime minister are two completely different official positions, and they coexist at the same time, and the prime minister's status is higher than the prime minister's. It is also recorded in historical records that Han Xiangbang and Han Prime Minister coexist at the same time, and the status of Han Xiangbang is higher than that of Han prime minister. According to records of the historian, there are prime ministers in Wei, Yan and other countries, whose details are unknown. In the Warring States period, Chu still set Lingyin as the general officer, but in the Warring States policy and Han Feizi, there are words of "Zhou Hou Xiang Chu", or Xiang still refers to Lingyin. During the Warring States period, some countries were in power, so the prime minister and Prime Minister could also be called "prime minister".
function
Xiangbang was a high official who helped the king to govern the country. He not only managed all kinds of things, but also rewarded and punished them according to their merits and demerits. But their position is not stable, as long as they are incompetent or violate the monarch, they can be removed from office at any time.
