Lai Jiawei
Lai Jiawei, born on June 4, 1982, is a political figure in Taiwan and a member of the Democratic Progressive Party. He is currently a member of the Taichung City Council. In 2005, he was elected as a city councillor on behalf of the DPP for the first time. After the merger of Taichung City and Taichung County into a municipality directly under the central government, Taichung city was elected the first member election of Taichung municipality directly under the central government in 2010.
