Sports career
Career
Liu Changhe used to be an amateur chess player. He learned chess from his father when he was young. At the age of 9, Liu Changhe won the first national youth championship. In 1979, he once again made a big splash, and beat the others in the 6th National Amateur Go Championship held that year, creating the only precedent for primary school students to win the national championship. In 1984, Liu Changhe represented South Korea in the 6th World Amateur Go Championship. Although he won the second place, he was very dissatisfied with the result. After returning to China, he immediately devoted himself to the career of professional chess player, and won the title of professional beginning in that year. Since then, Liu Changhe has entered a new era of rapid progress.
Liu Changhe's ascending trajectory is very interesting, which can be roughly divided into two stages: the early stage and the late stage. From 1984 to 1986, he was promoted to three stages. After that, he had to go to military service and had to leave his favorite go game for a while. In 1990, Liu Changhe made a comeback and started killing again. In the same year, he was promoted to four stages. Since then, in 1991, he was promoted to five sections. In 1993, it was upgraded to six sections.
In 1986, Liu Changhe had already defeated Cao xunxuan three times in the Anti Japanese War of the rising star in go magazine. Although Cao let him go first at that time.
In 1987, Liu Changhe won the championship in the second issue of "new king battle" and started a new sprint.
In 1988, Liu Changhe, who had only three stages, not only won the right to challenge in the sixth "King's battle", but also unexpectedly defeated Cao xunxuan, who was as famous as Japan and China at that time, 3-1 in the final, which sounded the first clarion call for the arrival of the new era of go in South Korea.
In 1989, Liu Changhe entered the final of the biggest game "Jihad" newly established in South Korea. However, in the final seven times, he lost 2-4 to Cao xunxuan and came second.
In 1990, Liu Changhe defeated Cao xunxuan 4-1 in the final of the second "Jihad" and won another championship.
1993 is a good year for Liu Changhe to have a good harvest in the field of chess! This year, he not only defeated Challenger Cao xunxuan 4-2 in the final of the 27th "battle of the throne", but also successfully defended his title. More importantly, he entered the final of the 6th "Fujitsu Cup" World Professional go championship against Japan's Shida fangfu, Wang Licheng, Takeo hero and tamaru xiusan. In the final, he defeated Cao xunxuan and won another golden world championship trophy for South Korea.
In 1996, he won Wang Licheng, Dazhu Yingxiong and Li Changhao in the 3rd "Yingshi Cup" World Professional Go Championship in Shanghai, China; he won Lin Haifeng 2-0 in the semi-final in Kunming; the first two games of the final were held in Xi'an on October 4 and 6, with Yitian Zhibai winning 3 points in the first game and Liu Changhe equalizing by 3 points in the second. After that, on November 4 and 6, Liu Changhe moved to Beijing to fight again. He won two games in a row with two advantages of five points and finished the game with a total score of 3-1, realizing that South Korean chess players dominated the Ying's cup for three consecutive times.
From the perspective of chess style, Liu Changhe is undoubtedly an aggressive player. His attack is not only full of strength, but also well combined with the overall situation, which can be called "gorgeous". No matter in the layout or in the middle, Liu Changhe always focuses on grasping the weakness of the opponent, takes the initiative to attack, and never avoids fighting. However, his attack is a kind of flexible "soft" attack. Although it is full of swords and swords, it does not necessarily need your life. As long as his situation is in the lead, he will withdraw skillfully before he knows it. It has become Liu Changhe's unique technical style to focus on attack, freely retract and release, use both soft and hard, and be brave and resourceful.
In 1984, it entered the WTO;
The second section of 1985;
Three sections in 1986;
Four sections in 1990;
Five paragraphs in 1991;
Six paragraphs in 1993;

Set up a dojo
On September 1, 2005, "Liu Changhe Weiqi Daochang" will be officially launched in Seoul. There is almost no precedent for Korean go players to set up a dojo. Liu Changhe Jiuduan is the first person to eat crabs.
Since the autumn of 2002, Liu Changhe has been running the go research laboratory in yanlidong, Mapu District, Seoul. But the "research room" is a research room after all. It can't be compared with the real "Weiqi Daochang" in terms of scale, organization and operation system. Liu Changhe's "Daochang plan" includes that in addition to the days when there is a match, he will stay in the Daochang for more than 12 hours from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., he will also fight against some small and talented chess players. The purpose of this is not to let players focus on actual combat and re set, and can strengthen the training of various basic subjects.
Under the guidance of the above teaching guidelines, Liu Changhe annotated in detail the scores of dozens of top-ranking chess players at home and abroad, and produced programs for chess players' training and research. In addition, there are more than 3000 go books in the 75 Ping (a Ping of 3.3057 square meters) scale dojo. According to the plan of Liu Changhe's go Dojo, Cui guibingjiuduan and Li zairi, who used to cooperate with Liu Changhe to run the go research laboratory, and Jin Ronghuan Qiduan, who is famous for teaching go, jointly assist Liu Changhe's Jiuduan. They rest in the dormitories of apartments beside the dojo and take turns to manage the go dojo. Liu Changhe's main target of teaching is not the young players who are already strong in go, but the "young, weak and potential" go talents. It is estimated that 60 people will be recruited.
Although Liu Changhe opened a dojo, he did not give up his pursuit of competing for the championship in the world competition. Liu Changhe said: "training and competition with senior class teenagers is a special kind of training. In order to teach them well, I have to study chess notation first. I study so hard to tell these young players that if they want to win the most, they must give enough training

Personal life
My wife Jin Duiji said to herself: it's hard for Liu Changhe to chase me
That was 18 months before we got married. Once, my colleagues from the TV station took me to a party of famous people. At that party, only my colleagues and Liu Changhe were young people, and the others were old people. So Liu Changhe stands out in the middle. Because I don't know go at all, my only reaction is "Oh! So he is Liu Changhe
After the party, Liu Changhe proposed to send me home. I think it's not appropriate to just meet him. However, Liu Changhe said that he was on his way home, so I couldn't refuse. Later I learned that his family and my family are just in the opposite direction! When I broke up, to express my gratitude, I said that if I went to work near my home in the future, I would treat him to coffee. It's just polite. I didn't expect it
