Wang Ziping, born in Cangzhou, Hebei Province, is a famous martial artist in modern China. Influenced by his family tradition, Wang Ziping has been practicing martial arts since childhood and is good at chaquan and Taiji.

Wang Ziping (1881-1973) is a native of Cangzhou, Hebei Province. He was born in Yihe street. He is a Hui nationality. He is a famous martial artist and a doctor of traumatology. Born in a martial arts family, he has practiced martial arts since childhood and is good at chaquan and Taiji. In 1919 (8 years of the Republic of China), he defeated Russia's Rex Cantel who set up a challenge in Zhongshan Park in Beijing. Later, he worked as a martial arts coach under the Ma Zizhen Department of the army. Wang Ziping and Tong Zhongyi are known as "Cangzhou two heroes" and once known as "Qianjin powerful king". He defeated Japanese judoka Miyamoto in Jinan and later worked in Shanghai to cure injuries and set bones. He has taught boxing in Jingwu Sports Association, Chinese Martial Arts Association, Wang Ziping summer Martial Arts Institute and Jingqiang Martial Arts Association. Prince Ping is enthusiastic about training successors and has trained many useful people for the country in the field of martial arts and traumatology. Wang Ziping was born in 1881 and died in 1973. Before his death, he was the vice chairman of the Chinese Martial Arts Association. He was born in a martial arts family in Cangzhou, Hebei Province, the hometown of martial arts. Prince Ping was a businessman in Kanto in his early years. Later, he joined the army and trained soldiers in martial arts. In 1900 (the 26th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu), when the boxers failed, he left Jinan to avoid suspicion. In the early days, he was a businessman and traveled all over the country. When he went to every place, he paid more attention to visiting famous martial arts masters and learning various skills. Later, he abandoned business and joined the military martial arts training institute run by Jinan garrison envoy Ma Liangxing to study martial arts. He taught Yang Hongxiu, a martial arts master in the Institute, how to master chaquan, skate, gun, Hongquan and spring leg techniques. In 1919, Russian Hercules Kang Tai'er, known as "the world's largest Hercules", performed in Beijing Central Park. He was so arrogant that Wang Ziping was indignant and defeated in public. Later, he defeated the Western powers such as Mazzini, allaman, Kozma and Sullivan. When he was in Qingdao, he was besieged by Japanese Constitutional police, and Wang Ziping threw them downstairs one by one. Wang Ziping later served as a martial arts coach under Ma Zizhen's Department of the army. He was famous for his strong performance in the army. Wang Ziping spread martial arts in Beijing, Tianjin, Jinan, Zhangjiakou, Nanjing and other places. He also taught martial arts in the northwest military middle school with many disciples. In 1923 (12 years of the Republic of China), he founded the Chinese martial arts club and performed martial arts skills with famous martial arts masters he Yuxian, Liu Baichuan and Gao Zhendong at the "National Martial Arts Conference" in Shanghai. In 1928 (17 years of the Republic of China), he served as the head of Shaolin branch of Nanjing central Martial Arts Museum, and later as the deputy director. after the founding of the people's Republic of China in 1949, he was a member of the National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference and still engaged in the medical industry. Wang Ziping once served as vice chairman of the first National Wushu Association, member of Wrestling Association, director of Shanghai Society of traditional Chinese medicine, vice chairman of society of Traumatology, member of Municipal People's Congress, CPPCC and people's Committee, vice chairman of Shanghai Islamic Association, and traumatology consultant of Shanghai Tongji and Jing'an District Central Hospital and sports hospital. In September 1958, the National Wushu Association was founded, and Wang Ziping was elected vice chairman of the association. In 1959, Prince Ping was the chief judge of the first National Games Wushu Performance competition. In 1960, he visited Myanmar with Premier Zhou Enlai of the State Council and became the head coach of the martial arts troupe. He has successively served as vice chairman of China Wushu Association, member of all China Sports Federation, member of China Wrestling Association, vice chairman of Shanghai Society of Traumatology, director of Traumatology Research Office of Shanghai College of traditional Chinese medicine, etc.

Wang Ziping loved martial arts all his life. In the old society, in order to make a living, he traveled all over the world. However, his deep love for Chinese martial arts did not diminish, and his will to practice hard became stronger and stronger. He began to practice martial arts at the age of six, and he didn't do it until his later years. In his early years, he studied chaquan and Ziwu sword, and traveled all over the country. After seeing all kinds of excellent swordsmanship of many famous masters, he learned from them and brought forth new ideas. His "green dragon sword" is a combination of the strengths of various schools, and absorbed the advantages of Western European fencing and Japanese Kendo, combined with his own experience. Prince Ping donated cannons to resist US aggression and aid Korea. He led his family to participate in the charity performance. He went abroad to participate in the performance at the age of 80 to introduce Chinese martial arts to the people of the world. In 1960, he was honored to visit Myanmar with Premier Zhou. That year, he was 80 years old and was the head coach of the martial arts team. In order to express his joy and the mood of promoting martial arts, he performed his "green dragon sword", which is flexible in body, coherent in movement, pure in sword technique, dancing and turning, in the hot sun of Yangon Chunshan stadium, and the whole stadium applauded. When he was 80 years old, Xie Jin, a famous director, asked him to play a supporting role in "big Li, small Li and old Li" to shoot Taijiquan. As the head of Shaolin, he is a highly respected martial artist in the whole country. Unexpectedly, he has no Yi opinions and no money. He happily goes to make a guest film. He believes that performing "Simplified Taijiquan" in the film is beneficial to the development of Wushu. He said that I will do whatever is good for the party and the country. Prince Ping's life was full of legend and patriotism. In his youth, imperialist powers invaded and divided China. One year, in order to meet the challenge of the German devils at Qingzhou station, he raised a big millstone in a rage and won the title of "king of divine power". His prestige also shocked the martial arts world as he constantly defeated the boxers of the great powers. One of the most famous is the battle of 1918 in Beijing to defeat Russian strongman cantell.

In 1921 (the 10th year of the Republic of China), American Sullivan came to Shanghai to set up a challenge. Wang Ziping stepped onto the platform and was about to speak. Unexpectedly, a big man sprang out behind him and punched Wang Ziping. Wang dodged. The man turned back and punched again. The prince averted, took advantage of the situation, kicked the man to the ground, and then returned the blow. That night, the "international arena" sent a note saying that the contract was invalid and the game was cancelled, and that the hitter was not one of them. Prince Pinto sent a message to Sullivan, saying, "if you don't compete, I will compete. If you don't win, you will never stop."! The gang ran away when they saw a bad situation. In 1922, Qi Baishi, a famous painter, wrote a banner of "fighting fierce tigers in the South Mountain and driving long dragons in the deep pool" and presented it to Wang Ziping, praising his noble national integrity, skilled skills and profound martial arts.
