Bebeto, whose full name is Jos é Roberto Gama de Oliveira, was born in the port of El Salvador, Brazil on February 16, 1964. He is a former Brazilian professional football player and a striker. He played for Etihad football club

Club career
Berberto made his debut in Brazil's Victoria sports club and was promoted to the first team in 1982.
In July 1983, berberto joined flamenco football club. In 1985, due to the departure of Zico, berberto became the main force of flamenco.
In January 1989, berberto joined Vasco da Gama football club.
In July 1992, Alberto landed on the Iberian Peninsula and joined the Spanish football club la Coruna. In the 1992-1993 season, berberto won the top scorer of La Liga with 29 goals. National team career
In the 1983 World Youth Football Championship, Alberto was substituted in the final to help Brazil beat Peru and win the first championship in his football career. Because of his great potential on the field, berberto, together with Basten and protasov, was rated as the "six stars of hope" by the technical and Statistical Committee of FIFA.
In the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games, Alberto won the silver medal for the Brazilian National Olympic team.
In the 1989 Copa America, Alberto scored two goals to help Brazil win the championship.
In the 1990 World Cup in Italy, Alberto made one substitute appearance in the group stage and stopped in the last 16 with the team.
In the 1994 World Cup in the United States, the Brazilian team's forward line composed of berberto and Romario was known as the "dream combination". They contributed two assists to each other. Berberto scored three goals to help Brazil win the world cup for the fourth time. On July 9, after scoring the goal in the quarter finals of the world cup with Holland, berberto joined his teammates Romario and mazinho in a cradle dance for his newborn son Mateus.
In the 1997 Saudi Arabian federation cup, Alberto played twice and won the first federation cup on behalf of Brazil.
In the 1998 World Cup in France, berberto scored three goals, representing Brazil in the final and failing to defend the title. After the world cup, Alberto withdrew from the national team.
In his career, he made 79 appearances for Brazil and scored 39 goals.
Personal life
In 1986, betto married Denis, a former Brazilian woman volleyball player. On July 7, 1994, Alberto's last child, Mateus Oliveira, was born.
