Yang Shuang (563-587, August 25) was born in Jingzhao Huayin, Shaanxi Province. Marshal Yang Shuang led the Turkic army to fight back in 583. Yang Shuang led Li Chong and other four generals out of Shuozhou (now in Shanxi) and met with Shabo Lue army in Baidao (now in the northwest of Hohhot, Inner Mongolia). Yang Shuang took the advice of Li Chong, the general manager, and defeated the enemy many times. He attacked Wufou with 5000 elite riders, broke through the army and captured more than 1000 people. Shabulu Khan was badly hit and absconded. Yang Jian gave Yang shuangzhen food for 1000 households in Liang'an county.

In the sixth year of kaihuang (586), Yang Shuangfu became a marshal and rode 150000 horses out of Hechuan.

In the seventh year of kaihuang (587), Yang Shuang was called into the court to be Ren Nayan. On July 16 (August 25), Yang Shuang died of illness. He was only 24 years old. He gave his posthumous title "Zhao" to Taiwei and Jizhou governor.
