Shui Junyi, Han nationality, was born in Lanzhou, Gansu Province on September 20, 1963. He graduated from Lanzhou University. He is a reporter and host of CCTV news channel.

He joined Xinhua in 1984. In 1991, he went to the battlefield to actively participate in the Gulf War. family background

His father, Shui Tianming, is a Russian professor at Lanzhou University, and his mother works in the local post office. Grandfather Shuizi was the director of Education Department of Gansu Province before liberation. Emotional life

In the winter of 1991, Wang Jun married Shui Junyi. In October 1993, Shui Junyi and Wang Jun's daughter Shui Yishi were born. In 2007, Shui Junyi divorced Wang Jun.
