Personage introduction
Chenghua (1465-1487) was an old courtesan in Nanjing. He studied painting in Shi Zhong and Wang Mengren. He painted landscapes and figures in Ma Yuan. Although his brushwork did not arrive, it was also rare for women. Shen Zhou had a painting of Linjiang fairy. After Congliang, some old friends wanted to meet each other, so they refused to write poems with fan paintings. Lin Nu'er (Qiuxiang) was known as the "talented woman" at that time, and her paintings were even more famous. According to the Ming Dynasty "painting history" records: "Qiuxiang painting in the history of the court straight, Wang Yuan father two people, the most clean pen." Thanks to Shen Zhou, the founder of Wumen School of painting, she is Tang Bohu's elder martial sister, but she is 24 years older than him.

New willow
The poem on the fan is "the painting of new willows": "in the past, Zhang Tai danced with a thin waist, and you were allowed to climb up the tender branches. Now it's written in Danqing, and the east wind is not allowed to waver. " Very clearly expressed their determination to be good. "Zhangtai" used to refer to brothels. "Dongfeng" here refers to those whorers. In this poem, Qiu Xiang uses "new willow" to describe herself. In the past, she was "allowed to climb and fold", but now she is the new willow in the painting. No one can touch her, and no wind can shake her.
