The monarch of Wei state
The monarch of Wei state refers to the monarch of Wei state in the Zhou Dynasty. Wei state is a vassal state with Ji surname in the Zhou Dynasty. Its territory is roughly located in Hebi, Anyang and Puyang of Henan Province to the north of the Yellow River, Handan and Xingtai of Hebei Province, west of Liaocheng and north of Heze of Shandong Province. Its capital, Chaoge, was successively built in Chuqiu, DiQiu and yewang. The first king was Kang Shufeng, the ninth son of King Wen of Zhou. Weiwugong was once powerful. When Zhouping moved to the East, weiwugong sent troops to help zhoupingrong.
Wei state is one of the longest surviving vassal states. It lasted 838 years before and after the founding of the state, and was passed on to 35 monarchs.
