Xi Jinping sends congratulatory letter to the launching ceremony of China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway project

On December 27, 2024, the launching ceremony of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway Project was held in Jalal-Abad, Kyrgyzstan. Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the launching ceremony, Kyrgyz President Sadyab Japarov attended the event, and Uzbek President Mirziyoyev sent a congratulatory letter.

Xi Jinping pointed out that the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway is a strategic decision made by the governments of the three countries with a view to regional connectivity and promoting regional prosperity and stability, which demonstrates the good wishes of the people of the three countries to open up this strategic channel. Today's launching ceremony marks that the project has been implemented from conception and has taken a key step towards the goal of completion and opening to traffic.
