At the beginning of the entire drama, a question is posed to the audience: What does 99% love and 1% perseverance mean for life? Chang Shuhong gave his choice: Dunhuang is bitter, but "we must fight until the end" and "I am willing to burn this life for Dunhuang". The repeated hymns in the play sing about the cultural choices behind this life choice: "There is a kind of existence in this world that only exists when we finally recognize and praise the sanctity of more than a century, which is a tenacious aesthetic."

Live performances, 2D animations, 3D special effects, visual images, real-time filming... The stage setting uses a flying imagination to present the timeless beauty of Dunhuang. In the drama, the 254th cave of Mogao Grottoes, which has had a profound impact on Chang Shuhong, is presented in a unique form combining group dance and generative artificial intelligence technology; The 35.5-meter-high "Beida Statue" in Mogao Grottoes appears as an important visual element. With the help of new technology, "Ice Ribbon" has become an immersive experience of Chinese aesthetics in the "Dunhuang Art Space"
