Dongpo Island

Dongpo Island, located in the east of Meishan City, Sichuan Province, is the largest river alluvial island in Sichuan Province. Dongpo Island, formerly known as "baihutan" and also known as "wangjiadu". Before 1997, it was a Hexin island surrounded by Minjiang River, where only more than 5000 residents from baihutan village and Jinlong Village worked and lived on the island.
