Personage introduction
In March 385, Murong Chong, the emperor of Xiyan, defeated and killed Fu Fang, the Duke of Gaoyang in the former Qin Dynasty, and captured Wei Qian's father Wei Zhong. Murong Chong appointed Wei Qian to be the prefect of Feng Yi and asked him to summon the people of Sanfu. Feng Xu's fortress master Shao Anmin and others criticized Wei Qian and said, "you are a famous family in Yongzhou. Today, you are following the bandits and doing unfaithful and unjust things with them. What's your face?" Wei Qian told Wei Zhong that Wei Zhong committed suicide and Wei Qian ran south to the Eastern Jin Dynasty.
