Wei nengqian's birth and death are unknown. Yuhang (now Zhejiang) people.

Nephew Wei Shoulong once supervised Si'an tax and Zhenjiang grain and material institute. For his deeds, see volume 5 of Zhang's Zhuoxian collection and Volume 17 of Jiading Zhenjiang records. Shoulong, the second year of Jingkang (1127), once for the event, see "Jianyan since the Department of years to record" Volume 3. There is one Ci poem of nengqian, which is recorded in the fifth volume of Zhang's Zhuoxuan collection.
