Wei Ji (687-754) was a minister and poet of Tang Dynasty. He was born in Yangwu (now Yuanyang County) of Zhengzhou in the Tang Dynasty. Wei Siqian's grandson, Prime Minister Wei Sili's third son, is less well-known as Nengwen. At the beginning of the new year, it was juancheng order, and it was moved to wailang, a member of the Treasury Department. He also successively served as the Minister of the Ministry of household affairs, Henan Yin, Shangshu zuocheng, Fengyi Taishou and so on. In his early years, Wei Ji was famous for his diction and had contacts with the great poets Du Fu and Gao Shi.
Promotion trajectory:
Kaiyuan four years (716) juancheng order. Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty called for a new county magistrate to be granted, and Wei Ji won the first place in the palace examination, so he was promoted to Liquan. Lei Qian, member of the Treasury Department, wailang. In the 24th year of Kaiyuan (736), he served as the Minister of Shangshu's household department and promoted Yin of Taiyuan (now Shanxi). Tianbao seven years (748) for Henan (now Luoyang) Yin, Qian Shangshu Zuo Cheng, later as Fengyi Taishou. Wei Ji's achievements in politics are quite praised in the world.
Main works
His poems are graceful and elegant. He once wrote four chapters of Xiande poem, which describes the merits of his ancestors and fathers. In volume 255 of complete Tang poetry, there are only j pieces of Fenghe Shengzhi ciqiongyue Yingzhi, and 1 piece of Tangwen Shiyi in volume J8.
