Huo Yuxia, born in Nanhai county (now Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province), was a Jinshi of Ming Dynasty and the son of Huo Tao.
Personage introduction
In the 38th year of Jiajing's reign, Huo and Xia were impeached for not being polite when Yan Maoqing inspected the salt affairs of the Xingbu. After that, he was appointed magistrate of Yinxian County, and served as an official of the Ministry of war.
