Chen Jianzhi, whose real name is Chen Xiangbao, was born in 1951. He is from Huaiyin, Jiangsu Province. He graduated from China logic and language correspondence university and Wuxi calligraphy college in 1987. He is a member of Jiangsu Calligrapher Association, a director of Huaiyin Calligrapher Association, a member of Jiangsu young calligrapher association, a member of Jiangsu staff Calligraphy Art Association, vice president of Huaiyin branch, director of calligraphy Department of Huaiyin Zhongshan calligraphy and painting academy, and a painter of Huaiyin Qingpu calligraphy and painting academy. His works have been selected into the national book exhibition to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Comrade Zhu De's Yanchen, the painting and calligraphy exhibition to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Jinggangshan reunion, and various provincial and municipal exhibitions. He has won more than 20 second, third and excellent prizes in the national painting and calligraphy competitions such as "jiuchenggong Cup" and "Huaxia Cup".
