Early experience

Xu ang spent his childhood in Hutong, Dongcheng District, Beijing. He studied western painting for nine years. Xu ang was good at mathematics and chemistry in high school and participated in the Olympic Games. Because I went to play basketball in Chinese opera in senior three, I had the idea to apply for Chinese opera. In 1997, when taking the college entrance examination, Xu ang was admitted to the director department of the Central Academy of drama. At the same time, he was also admitted to the environmental art design major of Tsinghua Academy of fine arts, and then he chose to study in the Central Academy of drama.

Acting experience

In March 2001, Xu ang, a senior, was selected by Ren Ming, director of the people's Art Theatre, to co star in the drama "the first intimate contact" with Chen Hao of the same performance department. Xu ang played a ruffian CAI. This performance attracted him to Beijing People's Art Theatre, and he officially joined Beijing People's Art Theatre after graduating from university. In 2002, Xu ang and Ren Ming co directed the drama man's confession. In 2003, he was the executive director of the drama "South courtyard of North Street", which was the first work of Xu ang to become an executive director and started his career as a director. In the same year, he directed and acted in the drama I love peach blossom, in which he played Feng Yan.

In 2004, Xu ang directed the little theater drama "lover" independently for the first time, which won the gold medal of beseto Tokyo International Drama Festival in 2006. In 2006, Xu ang set up a studio to rehearse international classic plays. In the same year, he starred in the TV series "family door", in which he played Gu Xian. In 2007, he directed and acted in the drama "maid" adapted from Jean Chennai's works, in which Xu ang and Lei Jia dressed as women, creating two maids with the same ugly face and soul.

In March 2008, the story of the zoo, adapted from the absurd play by American playwright Albee, was staged in the people's Art Theater, in which Xu ang was the director. The play aims to explore the subtle relationship between the theater and the audience. In October, he starred in Hamlet, a drama CO produced by Beijing People's Art Troupe and four seasons troupe of Japan. The play is based on Ying Ruocheng's translation, in which Xu ang plays King Claudius. In December, Zou Jingzhi, Liu Heng and Wan Fang formed their own drama club "Longma club". In March 2009, Xu ang directed the club's first drama "playground". In 2010, he directed the absurd drama Hua Fen, which is based on the American writer John Steinbeck's short story "John bear's ear".

In 2011, Xu ang made a local adaptation of Japanese playwright Yukio Mitsui's work "the University of laughter". The drama "the sadness of comedy" was performed by Chen Daoming and he Bing. The drama won 600000 box office on the first day of invoice (June 24, 2011). In 2014, Xu ang was the director of the film twelve citizens, which was localized according to the American legal film twelve angry men. The film was selected as the best film of "contemporary film" unit at the Rome International Film Festival on October 25, and won the "Marco Aurelio" award of the film festival. Xu ang won the best new film award of the 4th Shanghai film critic Award for the film Director Award.

In 2015, he directed the era drama "Hunter" starring Huang Xuan, Cao Zheng and Gao Xin, which is Xu Ang's first involvement in the field of TV drama. In 2016, he was the director of the suspense criminal investigation network drama "forensic medicine Qin Ming" starring Zhang Ruoyun and Jiao Junyan.

Personal life

In 1998, Xu ang and song fenglili met when they were studying in the Central Academy of drama. In 2006, SONGFENG Lili took on a TV play. Xu ang was the No.1 man. They really got to know each other and gradually became affectionate. Later SONGFENG Lili became Xu Ang's wife. In 2013, Xu ang divorced SONGFENG Lili.

On December 14, 2017, Jiao Junyan admitted her love affair with Xu ang.
