Yongshou County Yongshou county belongs to Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the west of central Shaanxi Province and the south edge of Weibei plateau. It faces Chunhua County and Xunyi County across Jinghe River in the East, Liquan County in the southeast, Qian County in the south, Linyou County in the West and Binzhou City in the north; Diantou and Yijing towns are separated by Guantou and wudian of Qian County as enclaves. In the East, South and west of Feidi, Qianxian county and Fufeng County of Baoji City are connected. The total area is 889 square kilometers.
Xilan highway connects Yongshou County North and south, known as "the throat of Qinlong, the thoroughfare of Shaanxi and Gansu".
As of 2018, Yongshou county has one street and six towns under its jurisdiction, with a permanent resident population of 189300, realizing a GDP of 8.543 billion yuan. In terms of industries, the added value of the primary industry is 1.841 billion yuan, the added value of the secondary industry is 3.779 billion yuan, the added value of the tertiary industry is 2.923 billion yuan, the proportion of the tertiary industry is 21.5:44.2:34.3, and the per capita GDP is 45127 yuan.
On July 29, 2020, the National Patriotic Health Association decided to name Yongshou County as the national health county in the period of 2017-2019.
Historical evolution
Yongshou county belongs to the state of lacquer.
In Shang and Zhou dynasties, it was the feudal land of Gongliu and Taiwang, the ancestors of Zhou, belonging to the state of Chen.
The spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period belonged to Qin Dynasty.
In the early Western Han Dynasty, the county began to be built. It was named Qi county at that time. It belonged to the state of Yong and was successively subordinate to Zhongdi County, neishidi County, youneishi county and youfufeng county.
In Xinmang period, Qixian was changed to Qizhi.
In the Eastern Han Dynasty, Qixian County was restored and subordinate to youfufeng and Xinping counties.
During the Three Kingdoms period, the county belonged to Wei and was changed to Fufeng County.
In the Northern Wei Dynasty, the county belonged to Baitu County in the north, Haowan county and Moxi County in the West and south, and Wenxiu County in the East.
In 548, Guangshou county was built in guangshouyuan (now in the area of yongshoufang village, Quzi township), which successively belonged to Jingzhou, nanchenzhou and Chenzhou.
In the second year of Emperor Ming of the Northern Zhou Dynasty (558), the county government moved southward to Yongshou village, Jianjun Town, which was renamed Yongshou county and subordinate to Xinping County. At that time, Moxi county and Yongshou County coexisted.
In the third year of kaihuang (583), Yongshou county system was abolished and merged into Xinping. After that, Guangshou County resumed its name and was immediately withdrawn. Its jurisdiction was divided into Baitu County, Moxi county and Shangyi County.
In the second year of Wude (619), Yongshou county was restored. The county government was located in mating (now Yongping town government), which was subordinate to Chenzhou. At that time, Yongshou County, Shangyi County and Wenxiu County coexisted, and the county governance was in the present county. In three years (620), Yongshou county was changed to Chenzhou road. In 621, the county was moved from mating to yifenglian (now Guxian village of Jianjun town). In 628, the county government moved to yongshoufang village. In the first year of civilization (684), Fengtian county (now Qianxian county) was changed to serve Qianling. From the first year of Shenlong (705) to the third year of Zhide (758), it belonged to Yongzhou, Chenzhou, jingzhaofu and Xinping County. In the first year of Qianyuan (758), it belonged to daobinzhou. In 785, the county government moved from yongshoufang to shunzhengdian (now Yongshou village of Jianjun town). Qianning first year (894), belongs to Qianzhou. Two years (895), is Weisheng army. In the first year of Tongguang in the later Tang Dynasty (923), the army was abolished and the state was restored. Yongshou belonged to jingzhaofu. At that time, Shangyi County still existed.
In the early Song Dynasty, Yongshou county was renamed Changshou County, and soon it was renamed Yongshou County, which successively belonged to Chenzhou, Xinping County, Yongxing Junlu Jingnan army, etc. Qiande three years (965), changed to Lizhou. In the first year of Jiayou (1056), the county government moved to mating. Xining five years (1072) and belongs to Chenzhou.
In the fifth year of the Yuan Dynasty (1268), Shangyi County was abolished, and only Yongshou County remained in the territory, belonging to Qianzhou in Fengyuan road. In 1278, the county government again moved from Yongshou village to the old county (now Yongping). In 1308, wudian, wushansi, Qinan and zhuangziyuan, which belonged to Yongshou, were assigned to Qian County, and Yongshou County became stable.
The second year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1369) belongs to Qianzhou, Xi'an Prefecture.
In 1916, it belonged to Guanzhong road. In 1917, it was a county directly under the province. In 1925, it belonged to the office of the seventh administrative inspector of Shaanxi Province. In 1930, the county government moved to Jianjun Town, belonging to Chen county.
In April 1948, the people's Government of Yongshou county was established, which was subordinate to the office of administrative inspector of Xifu district.

During the reign of Shengui in the Northern Wei Dynasty, there was a village system.
Before Tianqi (1621) of the Ming Dynasty, there were 20 Li households in the county. After the apocalypse, it was changed to be in Guoli, Yongkang, Checun, Pingquan, Changning, Jiangfu, Shangyi, Pengcun, Haowan and Liucun. In the fourth year of the reign of emperor Shunzhi (1647) of the Qing Dynasty, Shili was Zaiyong, cheping, Ninghua, Shangpeng and haoliuwuli.
In the 19th year of the Republic of China (1930), abandoned Li was set up as a district, under which a joint insurance system was set up. The whole county is divided into four districts and nine joint guarantors. The first district governs Jianjun and Duma joint guarantors; the second district governs Changning and Fubei joint guarantors; the third district governs Diantou and Yijing joint guarantors; and the Fourth District governs Yongshou (old county), Chema and Pingyao joint guarantors. In 1938, the joint insurance system was changed to Township, town and Baojia system, and the joint insurance office was changed to township (town) office. The county is divided into 6 township (town) offices, 30 public security offices, 617 a, including: Changning Town, 123A, 91A, 91A, 100mA, 109a, 172a and 122a, respectively.
In 1949, after the founding of the people's Republic of China, the system of village (town) protection and village a was abolished; the county was divided into 6 districts and 30 townships (towns) including Changning, Yongtai, Yongping, Duma, Jianjun and dianyi, and 114 administrative villages were set up in the countryside.
In 1950, the Ma district was withdrawn and Changning, Yongtai, Yongping, Jianjun and dianyi were changed into districts 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. In March 1952, the Duma district was restored. In August, Haodian district was added. There are 40 townships (towns) instead of 30.
In July 1953, it was merged into 5 districts and 30 townships (towns).
In 1956, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, and 18 townships (towns) were set up, including Diantou, Haowan, Yijing, Jianjun, Yongshou, Ganjing, Haodian, yujiagong, zhaijia, Mafang, Yuanjia, Shangyi, Doujia, yongshoufang, Checun, dijiaogou, Jiucheng and Pingyao.
In September 1958, the township was abolished and 10 people's communes were set up in the county.
In January 1959, Qian County, Liquan county and Yongshou county were merged into Qian county. The former Yongshou county had 7 people's communes and 21 administrative districts. In September 1961, the organizational system of Yongshou county was restored, and the county was adjusted into 13 communes and 2 administrative districts. In March 1962, 14 communes, 193 production teams and 751 production teams were set up in Mafang commune.
In May 1984, the government and society were divided, and the commune system was changed into the township system. The county has 14 townships and 3 towns, 225 villages and 762 residential groups (natural villages).
